Journalism Is Not Just About Being There. It Is About Understanding What Happened.

Sujata Dwivedi is a journalist and Correspondent at NDTV, reporting on the ground on stories of political and general interest. The work is built on research, interviewing and the kind of attention to detail that field reporting demands - going to where a story is actually happening rather than reporting on it from a distance.
The career began as a content creator on YouTube in 2020, moved into anchoring and hosting through Saral Bharat News, World Model Hunt and the Global Child Prodigy Awards, and then into daily news reporting through internships and on-field roles at India TV and Zee News. From 2022 to 2024, this included a role as Senior Correspondent at India News/NewsX, researching, gathering and reporting on stories of political and general interest. Since March 2024, the role has been Correspondent at NDTV.
Reporting stories that matter, from the ground where they happen.
Sujata holds a Bachelors in Multimedia and Mass Communication from the Deviprasad Goenka Management of Media Studies, graduating as the overall topper of the BAMMC programme (2019-2022) with a 9.5 CGPA, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Political Science at SNDT University. Reporting is conducted in Hindi, English and Marathi.
Beyond the newsroom, Sujata speaks with students and young journalists about what field reporting actually involves - the research, the verification, and the discipline of staying with a story until it is properly understood.

The working method.

Be On The Ground
Field reporting from where a story is unfolding, not just where it is convenient.
